Watford BID shortlisted for place management award
Watford BID has been shortlisted for a National BID Place Management Award for their work on the High Street redevelopment.
The awards run by industry association British BIDs, acknowledge outstanding projects run by BIDs (business improvement districts) which improve and enhance their areas.
Watford BID has been recognised for their work with Watford Borough Council, Hertfordshire County Council and Hertfordshire LEP to create a more attractive, less polluted, pedestrian and cycle friendly town centre.

Watford Business Improvement District (BID) was set up in April 2016, after businesses voted on its creation in October 2015. The BID aims to improve the town centre so that it excels as a place to work, a place to do business, a place to shop and a place to visit.
