The sensational summer Love Your Selfie experience hit all the right notes with customers in Atria Watford as it raised an impressive £6,002 for local charity, Jessica’s Arc.

Love Your Selfie, Watford’s first selfie experience, consisted of nine imaginative selfie ‘rooms’, and was created to raise awareness and crucial funds for the local charity Jessica’s Arc, supporting Alice’s Arc. The Arcs are a network of families whose mission it is to find a cure and better treatments for rhabdomyosarcoma a rare childhood cancer.

“We are overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our Watford community and we are delighted with the amount raised for such an important cause,” said Niamh Crowley, Marketing Manager at Atria Watford. “We want to thank everyone who showed their support and visited the event. We really loved seeing all the selfies captured in the space, a lot of fun was had!”

Jessica died from Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) at the age of nine years old in 2019 and since then Jessica’s mum Laura and father Simon have been campaigning to raise awareness of the illness.

Laura said: “We are so thankful to Atria for helping raise such an amazing amount of money but also for raising awareness. I know of a family that have a child currently being treated for rhabdo and they have connected with Alice’s Arc because of the Selfie event. Thank you to all the team.”
